MousePady (“we”) is operated by Getilix LLC. This policy explains what we collect at https://mousepady.com, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- Order information — name, email, shipping and billing address, items ordered. We need this to produce and deliver your order.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email subscriptions — if you join our list, we store the email address you give us and the page you signed up from.
- Account details — if you create an account, the details you enter there.
- Usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, via analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary, with:
- Printify and its print providers — our production partners. They receive your name and shipping address in order to print and post your order.
- Stripe — card payment processing.
- PayPal — payment processing where you choose PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Google — analytics and site performance measurement (Google Analytics via Site Kit), and Google Merchant/Shopping where product data is listed.
- Hostinger — our web host, which stores the site and its database.
- Wordfence — security filtering, which processes IP addresses to block malicious traffic.
Each of these acts as an independent processor under their own privacy terms.
Affiliate links
Some pages — notably our Gaming Gear section and some articles — contain affiliate links to third-party retailers such as Amazon. If you follow one, that retailer may set its own cookies and will handle your data under its own privacy policy. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this wherever it applies.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. Essential cookies are required for the shop to function. Analytics cookies are optional — you can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, and the store will still work.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we are legally required to for tax and accounting purposes. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s retention settings.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data (where we are not legally required to keep it);
- send you a copy of your data in a portable format;
- stop sending you marketing email — every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
If you are in the EEA or UK, these are your rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors, and access to the store admin is restricted and monitored. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and act quickly if something is wrong.
