Prism Split Desk Mat – Sharp Spectral Lines on Deep Black
Price range: $39.95 through $69.95
A clean beam of refracted light cuts across a pitch black field, bringing sharp geometric colour to your desk without adding visual noise to your workspace.
- Three sizes — 24″×14″ for a keyboard and mouse, 36″×18″ for most desks, 48″×24″ for the whole surface
- White stitched hem on all four edges — the part that frays first is sewn shut
- Non-slip rubber base — it stays where you put it, mid-clutch or mid-deadline
- Dye-sublimated print — colour sits inside the fibre, so it can’t crack, peel or wash out
- Wipe clean — damp cloth, mild soap, dry flat
- Free US shipping — damaged or misprinted, we replace it free

The same artwork, made for the rest of the room. Put the desk mat, the mouse pad and the print in one order and 15% comes off all three automatically — no code, it just appears in the cart.
Most dark desk setups fade into flat shadow.
A dark desk setup often turns into an undifferentiated mass of black peripherals, grey cables, and matte plastic. The whole surface loses its visual boundaries under indoor lighting.
Prism Split breaks that monotony with one disciplined line of spectrum colour set against a matte black field. By next week, you will catch yourself glancing down between tasks just to see that clean angle framing your keyboard.
What makes this one different
- Dye-sublimated colour — The spectral bands are dyed directly into the polyester fibres so the ink cannot crack or peel over time.
- White stitched perimeter — Heavy-duty edge threading prevents border fraying while framing the light refraction artwork cleanly.
- Natural rubber base — Textured tree rubber grips the desk surface flat underneath your keyboard without slipping during use.
Who it isn’t for
If you want soft pastel gradients, organic florals, or an edge-to-edge bright pattern, choose our botanical or watercolour mats instead.
“I looked at dozens of prism renders, but most had muddy gradients across the black negative space. This file passed because the vector edges between each spectrum band stay crisp right up to the white stitched border. It keeps the high contrast look sharp even under direct desk lamps.”

Three sizes. Pick the one that matches your desk, not your budget — the 36″ is the one most people wish they had bought.
