Synthwave Sunset Desk Mat — Retro 80s XL Extended Mouse Pad
Price range: $39.95 through $69.95
A retro sun dropping into a violet grid — magenta bleeding into burnt orange at the horizon, the grid falling away to near-black where your keyboard goes.
- Three sizes — 24″×14″ for a keyboard and mouse, 36″×18″ for most desks, 48″×24″ for the whole surface
- White stitched hem on all four edges — the part that frays first is sewn shut
- Non-slip rubber base — it stays where you put it, mid-clutch or mid-deadline
- Dye-sublimated print — colour sits inside the fibre, so it can’t crack, peel or wash out
- Wipe clean — damp cloth, mild soap, dry flat
- Free US shipping — damaged or misprinted, we replace it free

The same artwork, made for the rest of the room. Put the desk mat, the mouse pad and the print in one order and 15% comes off all three automatically — no code, it just appears in the cart.
Miami, 1984, permanently, at the bottom of your monitor
Synthwave is everywhere as a wallpaper and almost nowhere as something you can actually touch. Screens reset every time you close a window. This one doesn’t.
It’s built on the rule most retro art gets wrong: the grid has to go dark fast, so the sun stays the only bright thing on the desk. It’s the design that makes a plain setup look deliberate — and the one people ask about on camera.
What makes this one different
- The grid falls to black so your keyboard has somewhere to sit instead of competing with neon.
- Clean gradients, no banding — printed at full resolution across the whole mat.
- Matches the poster and pad in the same design, if you want the room to agree with itself.
“Retro synthwave is the easiest thing in the world to do badly — one more grid, one more sun, nothing decided. I held this one back until the horizon sat where it needed to and the magenta stopped shouting over everything else.”

Who it isn’t for
If your setup is warm wood and beige, this will fight it. Emerald Flow or Topographic will sit better.
The rest of the set: Synthwave Sunset Poster · Synthwave Sunset Mouse Pad — same artwork, drawn again for each surface. See all desk mats.
Three sizes. Pick the one that matches your desk, not your budget — the 36″ is the one most people wish they had bought.
