Lava Field Desk Mat – Glowing Magma Fissures on Basalt
Price range: $39.95 through $69.95
An aerial view of fractured black basalt split by glowing orange fissures, giving your desk a dark foundation with sharp lines of warm amber light across the workspace.
- Three sizes — 24″×14″ for a keyboard and mouse, 36″×18″ for most desks, 48″×24″ for the whole surface
- White stitched hem on all four edges — the part that frays first is sewn shut
- Non-slip rubber base — it stays where you put it, mid-clutch or mid-deadline
- Dye-sublimated print — colour sits inside the fibre, so it can’t crack, peel or wash out
- Wipe clean — damp cloth, mild soap, dry flat
- Free US shipping — damaged or misprinted, we replace it free

The same artwork, made for the rest of the room. Put the desk mat, the mouse pad and the print in one order and 15% comes off all three automatically — no code, it just appears in the cart.
Plain dark desks tend to swallow the room
A solid black desk mat looks clean for ten minutes before stray dust, cable marks, and glare turn it into a dull rectangle you stop noticing.
This aerial view replaces empty dark space with matte basalt texture and narrow cracks of orange ember. The first week you'll catch yourself pausing between tasks just to trace the fault lines running beneath your keyboard.
What makes this one different
- True basalt texture — Deep volcanic blacks keep the workspace grounded while fine surface cracks prevent dust from dominating the look.
- Sub-surface dye print — The orange and gold fissure tones are heat-fused inside the polyester fibre rather than stamped on top.
- White perimeter stitching — A crisp stitched border frames the dark volcanic rock so all four edges stay completely flat.
Who it isn’t for
If you want a light, minimalist pastel layout or zero warm accent tones on your desk, choose a neutral grey linen mat instead.
“Most volcanic prints use oversaturated red neon that looks like a video game loading screen. I picked this piece because the basalt keeps a dry, stone-like depth while the fissures carry genuine gold and amber tones that do not blow out under desk lamps.”

Three sizes. Pick the one that matches your desk, not your budget — the 36″ is the one most people wish they had bought.
