Razer Viper V3 Pro — Wireless Esports Mouse

This is, by most independent testing in 2026, the best-performing competitive mouse you can buy — and the one to beat if you're spending this much.

Who it's for

Serious competitive players who have already sorted their surface and settings, and anyone chasing the lowest weight with a top-tier sensor. Popular with claw and fingertip grips.

Who should skip it

Casual players — the performance ceiling here is far above what most play sessions demand. A $40 mouse will not be what's holding you back.

What actually matters

• Ultra-light with no creak or flex, which is the hard part at this weight.
• Flagship sensor with consistent tracking at high speeds — no smoothing surprises.
• High polling for lower click-to-photon latency if your system can use it.
• Optical switches — no double-click failure a year in.

The verdict

If you play competitively and want the current top of the category, this is it. For everyone else it's more mouse than the game is asking for.
