Elgato Stream Deck MK.2

It looks like a streaming toy. Most people who buy one end up using it hardest for work.

Who it's for

Streamers, editors and developers — anyone repeating the same multi-step action dozens of times a day. Scene switches, build commands, mute toggles, app launches.

Who should skip it

Anyone whose workflow is genuinely just a browser and email. If you can't name three repetitive actions, you won't use it.

What actually matters

• Tactile LCD keys — you hit the right one without looking.
• Profiles per app so the same key does the right thing in OBS, your IDE and Photoshop.
• Multi-actions — chain a sequence behind one press.
• It reduces mistakes, which matters more than the seconds saved when you're live.

The verdict

The rare accessory that changes how you work rather than how your desk looks. Pays for itself fastest for streamers.

It earns its desk space — make sure the rest of the desk is worth looking at too. Browse our desk mats →
